How fun is it to get on your knees and scavenge around for a rouge pot holder in the back of a lower cabinet? Not fun at all! If you had a drawer there, you could just reach in and grab what you need. When you're redesigning a kitchen, the more drawers or pull outs you can add, the better. If you must have cabinet doors, add pull out shelves inside so you can get to your items more easily. For bulkier items like food processors, you can use giant drawers, and for platters or baking sheets, get a custom drawer with inserts for these items.
